How can I choose the best stream after 10th

Many of you still juggling, which stream to choose after 10th? Everyone should choose their stream according to their capabilities and passion. One should not compare from which stream their friends and siblings pursuing, it is completely your decision which you have to take for your overall growth and development in your career.

It’s painful to being stuck somewhere, where you don’t belong.

That is why you should choose your stream very wisely.  Find your interests, passion, your strength, and weakness. Nowadays, every stream has a large extent of scope if you have the curiosity to learn and willingness to work on it. There are many streams which you can choose according to your interest:

Engineering and Technology (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) Choose your stream

If you are looking for being an engineer or astronaut, having an interest in space, want to work with tools, or having queries about how everything happening around you, then you should go for PCM. After doing your higher secondary from physics, chemistry, and mathematics; you unlock many career options. After engineering, you can pursue a master’s and then a doctorate to become a Professor. As we know teaching is the noblest job in the world where you can impart your knowledge to enrich the lives of others.

Medicine and surgery (physics, chemistry, and biology)

We have been facing this stereotype mentality that if a person is weak in mathematics, then he/she will for biology. But they don’t know pupils’ childhood dream is to become a doctor. In the current scenario, the doctor is proven as a life-giver. For being a doctor you have to be courageous, you should know how to tackle the problems. Apart from medical, you can go into the field of biotechnology, agriculture technology, bachelor of pharmacy, and many more.

Administration Industry (Arts and Commerce)

Don’t worry, nobody will judge you if you are choosing arts and commerce as your 12th stream. People are living in a dilemma that if the pupil is weak in the study, opt arts and commerce. Now things are changing, every big organization is hiring a chartered accountant for financial work, all the celebrity has their own CA. If you have an interest in numbers then commerce is the right stream to choose. Being an IAS officer is a dream of millions, if you want to prepare for civil services, then arts is a favorable stream for you. Mass communication is also a good career for arts students. It comprises many fields: print media, digital media, radio production, advertisement, public relation, and many more. Apart from that, you can make your’re in law, it also has many types: Intellectual Property (IP) lawyer, family lawyer, business lawyer, criminal defense lawyer and it goes on many.

Polytechnic and industrial training institute (ITI) courses

These are the diploma courses where you can acquire knowledge in the technical domain, industrial arts, or sciences. After completing polytechnic, you can directly enroll in the second year of degree course as lateral entry. Whereas ITIs offer training in various trades, you will attain so much practical knowledge in this because it focuses on the skill and development of a student.

 Vocational training courses(Choose your stream)

These courses are skill-based and career-oriented courses in which you can get knowledge about the industrial area. The government has introduced these courses for youths where they can learn about: paramedical courses; commerce courses; hospitality management courses; engineering courses; agriculture courses; and many more. You can pursue your career in any of them as per your interest.

From the above streams, you can choose your area of expertise. Before choosing any stream, one must do proper career counseling. Every stream has its pros and cons, but hard work and dedication will land you in a better place. Check your capabilities, nobody knows you better than you. Find your passion, if you are innovative then go for engineering, if you are creative then go for arts. Everything depends on your area of interest.
